Well where do i start...
My name is Bethany Garner and i was born 14th September 1997 to Andrea and Christopher at 3:52 am. My mum and dad were not together when i was born but when I was 2 they tried to give it another go but they didn't last long. I lived with my mum but saw my dad on a weekly basis most of my life.
When I was in year 11 at Barnsley Academy I met a boy called Aaron and we started dating on 2nd December 2013. By 23rd May 2014 i found out i was pregnant. The baby was due on 26th January 2015. During the year I was pregnant, I went to Turkey with family for 2 weeks, came home for 2 days then went to Spain with my dad, nannan and my brother. so I missed my 12 week scan but I had a 15 week scan when i got back. On 08/09/2014 I have my 20 week scan and we found out we were having a little boy. I was so happy and excited as I was hoping to have a little boy for my first baby to be a big brother to look after all the others; if other came in the future.
On 01/01/2015 @ 11:30 am I felt just a strange twinge in my lower back that kept coming and going and getting stronger. By half 3 my mum suggested to get in the bath to try and calm my "braxon hicks" but it didn't help. At about half past 5 my mum had made a full roast dinner as it was New Years Day but was the pain become constant and felt like a belt or band around my belly and back but was constant. So by 6 pm I couldn't eat my dinner as I was so uncomfortable so my mum called the maternity ward. After a few minuets of explaining my symptoms they told me i need to come up as it sounded like i had a bad water infection, as I do get them often; it didn't seem strange. We arrived at the ward by 6:30 after my dad came and took me to the hospital. The midwife came and examining me then told me I was 4-5 centimetres dilated!!!!!! I WAS IN LABOR !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! By 7:30 pm i was in my delivery room and on gas and air. At 20:32 pm on 1st January 2015 I gave birth to my first child Leo, weighing 5lb 9oz and was 36 weeks and 3 days when I gave birth to him so he was classed as a prem, baby as he was before 37 weeks.
Well that's all for this post I guess but I hope you readers keep updated on whats its like to be me throughout my life events.
